Sigh... now I'm missing my little girl who will be 30 this year and is living in NYC... she'll always be my baby girl...

Stop and imagine Ari in twelve years. Your beautiful daughter is now 16. Like all teenagers, she knows way more than you, she has raging hormones and unfortunately, male teenagers still exist.

How's your day look now?

That reminds me. The shotguns need a cleaning, the shovel needs a new handle and I have to buy my alibi dinner and a bottle of booze...

You know VC, when my little girl went out with her friends, I found that if I just sat on the front porch and gave them a little smile and didn't say anything... when she came home, her first comment was "everybody say's you look so intimidating!"

Sometimes, all it takes is the right look. Most guys wouldn't even come up to the house. They waited in or near their cars and looked nervous. I just smiled...

My Dad (notice the capital letter) told my sister that if the boy didn't get out of the car and come to converse respectfully with my parents that he wasn't taking her anywhere.

Same holds true here.
